DHS hosted their annual Memorial Day program on Friday, May 27. This was the first time in the last couple of years that the ceremony was held in person at the high school. The program not only honored our local Dumont Veterans, but also focused on the service and sacrifices of veterans and first responders in general. The DHS band, choir, and color guard were on hand to provide inspiring music and visuals for the event. Invited guests included members of the Dumont Police Department, the Board of Education, and the Mayor and Town Council. The DHS Student Council helped to organize the program.
As part of the program, DHS was also able to honor our graduating seniors who will be joining the military to serve our country. The seniors are:
- Elijah Kahn, United Sates Navy
- Paul Reissner, United States Navy
- Jezen Flores, United States Air Force,
- Angel Durve, United States Air Force
We are so proud of these students and wish them the best of luck on their military careers.
